[guide] Router Problem Bye-bye!

Hi everyone,

I was just browising some posts, trying to help some ppl. and I saw a major Topic with "Router Probelms".

It looks like some people did everyting they could to make thier serve rpublic and followed all the guides and tutorials but still no luck?

I am here to bring back the luck to your doorsteps:

If you are behind a router, and after you forwarded all your ports still nothing?>

so all you gotta do is this:

=open your Logonserver.conf=

and find the following
-------------------------------------------------------------
Listen Host = "0.0.0.0"
ISHost = "0.0.0.0"
RealmListPort = "3724" <-- change this to 6060
ServerPort = "8093">

P.S 6060
-------------------------------------------------------------

now open Realms.conf

and find
------------------------------------------------------------
<LogonServer Address = "your ip here" <---- go to whatsmyip.com and put the ip address of ur pc!
Port = "8093"
Name = "Default Logon"
RealmCount = "1">
-------------------------------------------------------------

Now go open your router. And portforward the range 6060 - 6060
now your port on ur router is open.

Now if you want your friends to connect to you they must change thier realmlist to port 6060

so it should loook like this:

set realmlist yourservername.servegame.org:6060

so all your friends need to add :6060 at the end of thier realmlist.,


Very important...

In realms.conf

yourservername.servegame.org:8129 <>........ DO NOT change that and leave it away it is.


you are now officialy public and you bypassed ur router security.


(if you deal with DynDns i suggest downloading Dyndns Updater available on thier site.

OK which IP you inputing? your routers or the one on whatismyip.com?

Also you might want to click Start/Control Pannel/
-double click on Windows Firewall and turn it off.

As well. 6060 port is only for realm listen. You also need to port forward the rquired by default ports.

which can be found in any guide for server setup.
