well when this "poll" is done, maybe newbies will stop asking what the best emu is ^^

ok this thing is nice so in my opion i will say for noobs and advanced guys in emulation so is u are a very good noob mangos for the wind since u dont

have many things to do whit it then come kodbold this is a very stable core but not many ppl now of it so ill pass on it then last Ascent this is the best emu

ever but u have to be an advance guy to use it but yes is stable ,supports latest patches easly but this is good for blizzlike server not too good for

funserver since burlex is getting so pissed of that other compile and chnage things to try and make the core my as a funserver core thats my opinion

i agree with ascent being best... about kobold not kobold will be back soon... they went underground and now they released v4 and more and more people are using it we are working on a repack for it also so expect kobold to relive verry soon ^^

I started with Wowemu, then migrated to Mangos, then tried kobold, then mangos again, then antrix, then ascent.

My vote is with Ascent atm - For it is very customizable and free. Although i might be picking kobold back up. We'll see :P

I know Im not a 'guru', but Ive been running servers the past couple of years on and off.

I used Wowemu right at the very start when it was first coming out, then jumped to Mangos which seemed a lot more flexible. Now of course we are all running ascent, which has to be my favourite so far.

I spent a long time using Mangos, and it wasnt very easy learning Ascent, but after a week or so Im picking it up.

I think if people just concentrated on using the server more these days, instead of adding hundreds of mobs, there would be a better understanding all round.

ooooo nice to see that we are probably 2 of the small amount of people on this forum who actually used kobold and know about it ^^
