Help With updating to 2.3

I want to update to 2.3 without losing all the stuff in my database. (over 500 things) is there any updates for this?

So i can update my core and database without having to use a completely new database and editing all my stuff to work with it?

if you are using NCDB milestone 0.2.2 then just take the full update from 0.2.3.
And you can fast update ascent without losing anything.
