got problems importing SQL or TXT??

Hi guys, I constantly see posts and threads asking for help in SQL field. especially how to IMPORT SQL and TXT FILES TO YOUR DB.


Well let me show you how:+Rep


1. Do not use any other SQL import Software but HeidiSQL
Heidi SQl is the most reliable software out there to manage your SQLs.

2. A guide how to import a an SQl or Text file
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

a. TXT file is the easiest...
- open your Heidi SQL, click on your table where you want stuff imported.
- copy paste your TXT file contents in to querry, and then right click on
that and click Run Queries or Execute all Queries.

Now.. if it gives you an error,,, it can be only for 1 reason. your databse
already has the same IDS. So... if that happens , here is what you do.

b. Open your TXT file or SQL file with NotePad
and you will see something like this
(lets take season 3 gear. Vengeful)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
('1000005',4,1,-1,'Vengeful Gladiator\'s Dreadweave Hood
=========================================================
when i imported this file to my Queries i got an error.... so what i did was very simple...

I added 3 Zeros in each Idem id in the file... so it would look like this

('100000005',4,1,-1,'Vengeful Gladiator\'s Dreadweave Hood..

and it works perfectly fine...

From here follows, if you get an error importing SQL or TXT files.. ITS CAN BE MOSTLY FOR 1 REASON> DUPLICATE IDS

THEREFORE.. ADD 00 (2 ZEROS) IN YOUR IDS IN YOUR TXT FILES AND THAT FIXES THE PROBLEM.

PS: I ADDED GLAD 3 VENGEFUL SET (WEAPONS AND GEAR) ZULUMAN INSTANCE OPEN AND ALL ZULUMAN ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE.
