Problems with Navicat

At this moment i feel like the centre of all problems.. just when i think that every thing that could possibly go wrong with my server has happened this pops up in my face...

When i try to open the connection on navicat it says 2003 - Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.1' (10061)

I have no idea how to solve this so help is welcome

re check the info on your connection tab and make sure its connecting to the right sql server / if you didn't turn you sql server on then this will happen to make sure its on

It has worked before and i have never turned ony anything apart from Navicat and my WoW server...

yes but sometime the my sql doesn't start up just make sure its on

how do i do that? i'm a complete noob when it comes to private servers

I am assuming that your private server is windows based. If so your first step would be to go into your control panel, followed by administrative tools, then open up services.
When the services window opens find MySQL in the listing, double click on it. For mine I have the startup type for automatic (so that it starts when the PC is started). Secondly ensure that it is started. If stopped, press the start button.
