    A little help please

My friends and i have been trying to set up a private wow server using antrix.

The person who runs the server can access it fine. Even though we've tried numerous public guides none of us seem to be able to get it working.
The thing that happens is it says they are logging in then it gos back to the realm list. Any help on this issue would be appreciated.

(yes i have looked for the solution on my own before i bothered you with this post!)

(Great community guys keep up the good work!!!)

We are using dyndns to allow people to connect.
    We have tried using mangos.

use no-ip it works the best of all i have seen so far

if they are hanging in the realms list have the person running the server check his database setup.

I had the same issue until i made the following changes (using no-ip)

open navcat -> realmsd -> realmlist - > remove the 127.0.0.1 and place the url given from the no-ip

    then

open C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\ locate and open the "hosts" file with notepad

change the last line to read like this

    127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 (insert your no-ip url here)

*** note *** when i did this i had to have it exactically like the above or no one could connect ... but that is just my system, by all basic networking/programming just the last line is all that is truely needed
