    Antrix Private Server Question.

Okay, first of all, if this question was answered somewhere else, I'm sorry for making a new thread. I searched about 4 different keywords of this question, and read almost every page on the 200+ page FAQ. I saw the question asked maybe two times, but no answers.

First of all, I followed http://www.mmowned.com/forums/antrix...-x-server.html to make this Antrix server, great guide by the way.

Once I get everything up and running, I start WoW.exe, login a few times to get it connected and into Character creation screen. I make a character, try to enter the game, and get instant disconnected. I have no idea what's causing the problem at all. The only thing I did see that didn't look right was in my Antrix.exe file.

When its loading the DBC files, I see "Query failed: SELECT * FROM playercreateinfo.

This, to me, seems like it could be the problem, maybe, but I have no idea how to fix it. Any help or suggestions is much appreciated!

Quite a odd problem, Never heard of anyone getting DC'd while trying to enter game.

    What Database are you using?

I wish I could tell you. The one that came with the file posted in that link. I'm still pretty new to this whole thing. Not sure of what the different databases are

    Re: Antrix Private Server Question.

The database is what actually ties the whole world together, really. The database file contains the NPCs, their functions, loot, activities, quests, etc, etc all together into a interactive world.

A bad db will give you a near empty world, no monsters, venders, creatures.

I have been using the 'Next Chapter' db version 0.1 and it is very much just like the game. It can be found on this board by searching. It is also available lots of places, google 'ncdb Wow'.

I have tried many many dbs and each one seems to be missing something or something is broken somewhere. But you have to take the good with the not so good.
