Wow emulated sever with the real thing.

Hey I havent been on this site in like a year and I used to have my own emulated server but deleted everything about it when i started playing the real thing. I was just woundering is it safe to make another one and play on it while playing the actual game? Or can they like detect it or someting and ban me?

i have 2 wow accounts on live, like 10 accounts on different private servers, my own private server, and they haven't arrested me yet, so i think your pretty safe. just don't talk about private servers and stuff in real wow, and avoid attempting to use gm commands, because they prolly have chat loggers.

Yes, Blizzard does log your chats, and they look out for keywords, such as 'Hack' 'Exploit' 'Scam' 'Private Server' 'Emulator' and so on. But they won't ban you no matter what you say, unless they have proof.

And anyways, Blizzard wouldn't attack you for having a Private Server, there are TONS of servers out there, it would cause to much trouble for Blizzard to attack each one. They will attack if you are making money off of it, and they find out (Because you're making money from their game)

Blizzard knows about this site, and WoWStatus, and all of the Private Servers out there, the thing is: They don't care.

Blizzard has over nine million subscribers to WoW, and add that to the number of people still playing Diablo/Starcraft/WC3, they're pretty set. They don't care about the 10,000 people playing on private servers, half of them who are still subscribers anyways, they find it as a small thing and nothing to be harmed as long as they make sure not to leak anything on live realms.

Like above poster, they track this site. Keep your name off stuff here and your good. As for their dectors it tracks 3rd part software that is effecting WoW. Running a private server is a direct connection to other peeps computers so GG blizz and GG loopholes in the Eula that most of the time keeps it legal to host!
