Element Network wants to expand

We as Element Network looking for Teams that want to join our Network.


The aim of the Element Network is to offer a wide range of gaming possibilities.
We want to build gradually a network that combines a lot of games.


So we got a good Idea:
Why not bring the WoW Emu community a little bit mor together? We as the Element Network want to try this.

Our Projekt is still in work but our goals are huge and we will do our best to reach them.


So heres is how it works:

So maybe you have a PServer Projekt for World of Warcraft for example.
But you have problems to get new Players, Teammembers or just to fix this little damn bug on your Realm ?

Then we maybe have the solution for you, just join our Network!


Requirements:

- Trinity or Mangoscore (and Database)
- Your own root to host your Project
- Experience in manage and build your own PSever Realm


So here are the short facts:

What you will lose:
- Your own realmlist and Logon-Server
- Your own homepage and Forum. (If you need anything from that maybe we can implement it in our homepage.)


What will be the same:
- Your Realm(s) with all it's content
- Your complete team
- Your Projectname


What you will gain:

- One Website with Live Support (Of course you can join it with your team) and Forum for all Projects. (Work in Progress)
- The Time to work on your realm and not have to deal with the administration of Website and Forum.
- The Competence of other Projects to handle difficult tasks on your realm. If you have a Problem with a Bossscript or something like that just ask an other project in our Network.
- Community. Maybe you have some Bug on your Server. Just ask some other Projects and maybe they fix it already.
- A loud Voice. All our subproject will have the ability to work with us on the whole Network (Website for example).
- No risk. Your can leave us everytime. We will do our best to give you back what you left behind in our Network (Accounts that want to play on your
new standalone project).
- Security. If in any case your Realm will get offline the players can dodge to other Realms and won't get lost.

In general, we want to create an atmosphere of community not of competition. The more diverse the better the individual projects.
Perhaps you noticed that another project has the same ideas as you? Maybe you decide you make a joint subproject and together to develop a realm.
We hope the variety of our community service we will provide, will help us to enlarge the network and our offer.


We do not looking only WoW projects. We are looking for people who can enrich us.
You don't have a team or a project but you think you can help us? No problem. Work with us on the Element Realms.
You have a project that is working on a other game than WoW?
CSS, Battlefield or GTA. We are open to everything.


So that sounds strange to you ? Then before you close this thread or post a negative answer,
let me explain me this structure in Detail.

We actually had post this Proposal on other Forums and people were afraid we would want to take over there project.

More or less this completly wrong even if we wanted to we couldnt because of the structure that the Network will have.

We just only manage the LoginServer of the network and your realm (even through we have our own realms too.).
WE DO NOT HAVE ANY ACCESS TO YOUR REALM IF YOU DON'T WANT TO!
Why ? It's simple because the character-database and the world database aren't even on our servers. They are on your own root.

So if we would do anything like "take over your project or something" what would you lose ?
Yes your accountdatase.
And if so, more or less it's pretty easy to build it up again. In practice this will never happen because we would lose instantly
our reputation and all other projects that joined our network since this far would leave. If you want to leave our network we will do our best
to give you the data you need to build up your own standalone project again.


Two things by the way. We are a german Project and german team but we want to go european (or even world)-wide. We are looking forward to support multi
language. Don't be afraid to talk to us in english. Most of the team I think wouldn't have any problem to talk english.
Also we are under construction. The Idea is new, the man power we have available is small and the work we have to do is large. Also we doing this for
fun and in our freetime.

I like the idea, but most people won't bother helping others with theirs server when they have theirs to work on, they are all a server on the same website, meaning most players who go to the website will most likely only try out a few, so each server will want to be the best and helping other servers won't get them there, there are a few people who would help the others, but way too few to make joining the network beneficial.

We just thought that the combined Power of more than 4 or 5 people would be better and effective.
Yes indeed we are (when we only talk about WoW) an Emu Project and we do give competition to other projects. But if they want they can join us (and even don't lose anything because we implement their stuff) or do their own stuff under our website.
We will do our best to justify the existens of the realms that are in our network so that no one
feels discriminated. We do have a lot of Ideas and at this time in fact the tools to get them online (except the way to low amount of manpower).


Also a little Update.

We do have at the moment 5 roots server. The 6. one is coming. (Yeah i know a bit too much but our teammember which is paying for it seems to have a bit to much money. So if he wants why not.)
And we are currently only about 7 people.
So as you can see we really have not enough man power to do what we want to.
We really looking for teams of all games that can be played in multiplayer.
Also English Emu projects so that we can implement a third realm with english language.

Websitestatus: Currently und construction. A webdesigner we hired is building us a Homepage.

Gamestatus:
WoW - 2 Realms are running and are in development.
Aion - Only have 1 Teammember who wants to do it but without a Team he can't
Fly for Fun - Contacted some teams. Some may wanna join.
Ragnarok - As far as i know project is on the run. 1 Teammember wants to develop it.
CSS - We have a Clan that is in partnership with us. Two public realms are online. But maybe we find some guys that want to do a bit more funlike for the mass.

As we sad. It's not all about getting help or a forum. We want to bring the community from different games together to play on one place. We think that one Gamer is willing to play different games and in that case we want to give him the opportunity. So as a consequence the different projects will get more player because gamer from all kind of games will come to our site.

Yeah well i don't think that's up to you. These guys are working on a decent project. i honestly think the chances of it working are minimal, but that doesn't mean we should just flame their projects and bring them down, just let them do their thing, you never know, they might surprise us.
