Hey All!

Initially i had my thoughts on writing a guide about my personal discoveries starting up a WoW server as a noob, giving a general view of the first easy steps in enjoying the world in wich you have the powers of a god (read: GM), yet the sheer amount of noobness in my forumranking permits me to do so. On the other hand - on a forum that contains noob-installs like 711's and SO much information about privateservers I'm not likely to add much content.

Now for the interesting discoveries that i was lucky enough to have found:
On using the GM command .learn 55164 the flying mount [Swift Spectral Gryphon] will be add to your pets tab. This pet was initially designed to be able to reach your body when dead in certain parts of Northrend. You can use this mount in Azeroth and Kalimdor and it has NO level requirement. Only problem is: when you dismount, the Gryphon will disappear but you will still be flying, and with a speed of 280% =). You can dismount properly with the .dismount GMcommand.

I like having these as macro's so i can create a new character, quick-click these items in place with a friend, and start heading for the nearest instance to enjoy some nice teamwork action.

@Bl1nk - I use Mangos Noobsetup by 711, thnx for the rep.

I just found out this mount can also be used while dead (as it was intended) which makes corpse-runs into corpse-flights. Very handy as you cannot turn on GMFlightMode while dead because you cant chat (and thus cant use commands).

You can just type in /g even if you do not have a guild

@treeko11 - Gee, thanx for the tip

@CimSlunt - I wonder what you did different from me. All i did was ".learn 55164" and then drag the icon from the pet-tab to the actionbar. Hope that helps.
btw this worked on WoW 3.2.2...
