ok i hope this helps ^_^ i just got a new 160gb hd and forgot my ide cord so i can have my dvd and hd drive hooked up + my other 2 hd's soooo i copyed my wow folder to my main hd transfered it to my 160gb after restarting and sadly when i tryed to install my wotlk bla bla bla read the thread title :] ok sooooo with my uber pwning 1337 computer ski11z >:] i thought for like 20sec and went to start run program regedit just use the find function search for """""" World of Warcraft""""""""""" no quotes now i went through and set the paths containing Game path,Install path to the current place where you have your wow bc installed so hope this helps fell free to post this guide where ever you feel just if you read this and posted this guide just give me credit NO I DIDNT LEECH OFF ANY1 ELSE AND I DONT FELL LIKE SEARCHING SO DONT FLAME MEH

On-topic : Patcher downloaded from Blizz site gives the "Please install Burning Crusade", however, when beta downloader is downloaded elsewhere, it doesn't give that error and works perfectly.
