solo power, just not scripted

yesterday I had a bit of fun in MH. I creates some special items (the useless ones like tabard, shirt, etc.) to be able to have enough HP and spell power to survive in Mount Hyjal and I walked my way up to Archimonde. I know there's a huge difference between real game and a private server and all the magic seems related to scripts.

I noticed that, even if I've all MH scripts in the correct directory and ascent loads them correctly (at least without errors) no boss does anything else than plain melee.
only Doomwalker seemed shuting some random sentence but still doing plain melee as well.

is that the way emulator works? or you're able to make these script work?

You need to download the right scripts for this. There are a few different scripting projects, here is the names of the ones I know

Lua++
Moon++
Sun++
BLua

I bet some of them got mount hyjal scripted.

thanks for the answer. I was thinking that seeing ascent-world was loading all script without any error (I removed the ones giving issues) they would have been loaded. so, how to see if they work? and how to download/install the ones you mentioned?

yeh all mine work fine and all my bosses are scripted as well and they act more or less like retail, i use arcemu by the way but ascent shouldnt be any different you should just try compiling your own and then getting all the scripts off the svn and then check if they work.

ty for answer, I'm using arcemu as well (just wrote ascent to make it simple). I didn't compile it myself because I tried in past without success. :\
but when I launch world.exe it says all scripts are loaded succesfully, so what's the issue? could you please share your exes + scripts somewhere?

really no place where to download a working emu+scripts? I tried lot of repacks so far but still nothing works. and I don't need DBs, I already customized mines so I don't want to mess it all. and I can't compile, I tried so many times and it was all wasted time. I'm not a programmer and barely understand even concept of compiling. just want some scripts working. :\
