Server Question - Help Please!

Hey.. Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong ever.. But I have just recently got another server up... from testing so many others, and I keep running into the sammeee isssue over and over and over again.

What happens is, in each instance mainly the big BC ones, such as BlackTemple and things like that. All the Raid bosses are able to attack me but when ever I try to attack them, it just says "Miss", "Miss", "Miss" all the time. I have no idea how on earth to fix this. I've gone server to server and ALL of them have that issue...

I wana make a Blizz rate and I cant have these things happening.. Just 1 boss being bugged totally messes everything up.

Oh yea one more question, I have repeats of the same mob in the same instances sometimes.. how on earth do I get rid of them to never come back, does .npc delete work for instances too? Or will they come back right after on another instance run?


Please help me and be as simple as possible... I hate to bother but.. I just have no idea what else to do.

What level are you when you try to attack them?

and yes .Npc delete works for an instance too.

I'm level 255, and I also have maxed skills at 375... So yea, its not the fact that I'm under skilled or under geared or anything.. Its just every server is like this. Least the ones I've been trying...

They attack me and pwn me and then I attack them and its nothing but misses

I put god mode on to try it for a few mins and nothing changes just all misses

Btw just checked it out and yea the .npc delete does work for instances, got that fine now

What class are you doing this as?

This time was a Warrior, last times I've tried was a Pally..
Butt does it matter?:P I want it to work for all classes lol, I've never tried a caster, maybe it will work but... I need it working for all if possible.

Are you using the highest rank of spells w/e? Maybe I can try and go on your serv and see whats wrong?

If anybody else has any other suggestions, feel free to post. Still waiting on a reply on him joining the server =P and could use any help if anyone has ever had this problem with the raid bosses not being able to be hit.

Bro, it's probably hit rating. Having maxed weapon skill doesn't mean much for high end raids. Use some gear with hit rating, or make some, and let me know if it works out for you.

Here's what happens;
Boss skills are calculated as your level +2 (or was it +3?), so if you're level 255, the core is calculating the skills as if they were level 257, at which they have 1285 skills, meaning 1285 defense, 1285 attack, etc.
You only have 375 attack skill vs their 1285 defense. Ergo, you'll miss very often.
