Where to start.

Okay, so I can't get the quest NPC's to actually GIVE you the quests, but I don't have my server online yet, I want to at least fix the bugs like that first. Also, Wondering how you can manually create an account.
I know. Leechin' :P Not really lol, just a nub when it comes to server development. Way harder than GMing lol.

Creating accounts:
Ingame, if you have an admin account, command is .account create.
You can create an account in the console, type help and it should list the available commands, one of them creates an account.
You can add an account directly to the DB - INSERT INTO accounts(login, password, gm, flags) VALUES("username", "password", "GMRank", "8");

Quests are a part of the DB. No quests probably means outdated or bad DB. Get a new one

To make a NPC start with a quest there is 2 ways

First way it to make it from the DB, there is 2x tables there
creature_quest_start
and
creature_quest_finish

The tables say it all. To make it start, open the start table, in the first row enter the NPC entry, in the second enter the quest ID.

The second way is to use a command. But this have been buggy for me

.quest start <ID>
.quest finish <ID>
.quest both <ID>

The last one makes both of them. But as I said, this has been buggy for me, making me crash. I strongly recomend doing it trough the DB.

For your second question, I would say that you will use the DB again.

Go to your Logon database ( I suppose you got one with a name like that). Open up the table names Accounts. And add a new row.
First colum, add a unqiue number, then account name, password. Gm level

And for the last, set flags (nearly in the end) to 8 to activate TBC account.

Okay, I'm going crazy. Does anyone have a link to an up to date DBC for all quests and everything to work by chance?

Using ac-web repack? I know their quest doesn't work. There is a quest fix somewhere =P Search for it

lol thanks, and yeah using AC webpack, it seemed the most from scratch, so since I'm still learning everything on the DB I'm using it to learn while deployed and then when I get back if I have DB editing down THEN I'll contemplate putting the server online, thanks for the help again.
