    Anyone interested by this?

I had this idea - To make a simple server where all raiding was loot based(which is how think that blizz should implement it, but whatever)

So what i did was :

remove all loot from KZ -> BT

put 3 tokens per tier up to tier 6
put a common token for tier 6.5
and even put a legendary token for lvl 70 legendaries.

Also made all NPCs for tier 4-5-6 already, they are all quest based ( no hacking ) and vendor all items per class.

took me 3 straight days or something or dev'ing.

the point was : to make raiding simple, fast, and still make it scripted for a instant 70 server and then push custom dungeons.

i found the concept interesting but unfortunetly i dont have the time to maintain a server, neither do i have the infrastructure/manpower to support it.

Would anyone be interested in having those tokens/NPC loot system?

i will post screensots in a few minutes

So, what you are suggesting is to implement a token system for every item that is dropped? Wouldn't effectively double or triple the amount of work you would be required to do, just to get lootable raid content?

not for every item. simple for the best in slot for that tier.

example : normally there is what, 3-4 epics dropped per boss, for 25 person per raid. What i did is that instead of dropping 3 items, it drops 3 tokens (3 class per token) of that raid tier.

so if you want the glove, roll on a tier 4 loot and go to the quest guy, that will ask you what slot you want and then will take the token and give you your item in return.

so lets say.. melchezar normally drops only good melee gear(example here) , instead he would drop a token of your class so u can do whatever u want with it.

the fact is, its already implemented, if anyone wants it, just ask. Just dont want to feel like i wasted time :P

so you mean if you kill any boss that normaly drops t6 you get a token that you can exchange for any tier6 slot?
If so, i totally disagree... then what is the fun of raiding illidan if you can do a boss that is much easier? I think blizz system is ok
