Are you sure that this client works?

The link that you posted to the other thread shows a picture of a new area, but Frozen Throne is spelled wrong. It doesn't seem like Blizzard would spell Throne wrong.

That map is a fake, however, the remainder of the files are valid.
Edit: As well, that picture might have been taken from Alpha. Hence the Blizzard Feedback Alpha addon instaleld (Which comes with the Alpha client.)

no taht is from a nogg-aholic, he bypasssed the char lock. hes posting all of those screens. It is NOT a sandbox/ private server

i dont know if this would be a first but using my 2.4.2 private server i was able to get to the loading screen using the wrath client

This is a question to anyone really-

I have recently gotten into model swapping both items and player models and things like that. With the Alpha client I'm not really looking so much to play before anyone else, although that would be tasty, I'm really looking to put together a preview page of new items and their models i.e. data mining I guess you would call it.

So here's my question- If I want to start building a database of unknown in-game models (things that havent been posted for whatever reason, but are still completed models, skins or no skins) I shouldnt really need anything other than the Alpha client and a model viewer correct? I'm assuming it would be the same as using a viewer to look at current live server items.

I just connected to my private server using the WOTLK alpha. I was able to select Death Knight and look at it, but if created it would boot me. Also, the game locks up at the title screen
