    Changing Display ID Of NPC

I Use command .mod displayid # 1 or .mod displayid #

but it doesnt save that Displayid to the NPC

Problem is admin changed all my npcs to #1 so their boxes.
and I dont want to have to go through database and find eachother and change them back.

Can someone help? The admin somehow managed to Change Their Displayid's and save it using in game command.

Don't change the displays into game, go to the bd and change it. Is more easy and is forever

Only simple things make me feel alive...

Go into the DB, the creature_names table. Lookup the place with the maledisplayid and femaledisplay ID and change that to whatever you would like to have it as.

Go ingame and .reload creature_names and exit WoW and delete Cache

    Or just restart server

    Hope this helped you

I'm not sure if I understand you right. But you are trying to tell me that you have the right displayID but they are still boxes?

Try to .mod displayid on yourself and see if it works. If it doesn't, please post what mobs displayID that you are looking for (retail name of the mob), and I can check it up for you.

If you got the right, and you are 100% sure of it, can it be so that you are using a 2.4 displayID? That one maybe doesn't exist in your DBC files. Sounds like it could be so too.

Hope this helped somehow. Please post if it didn't and I will try to solve it for you, you could post the record here too.
