Small little question

Hey just one little thing, when you compile your own stuff, whats the difference between all the stuff. Whats dose branches have that trunk and udb don't?

Hmm your question is a bit vague but by stuff I think you are meaning, the difference between different databases such as NCDB, ACDB, PSDB etc. Well, each of these databases are different because they contain different things, for example some are Blizzlike which means they are similar to the Retail Servers and and others could be a Funserver which has things a normal Retail Server wouldn't.

trunk is the latest fixes, branches are the stables, and udb is unifed database so patable --but not atm---i dont think atleast

i recomend the trunk

and the point of compiling over others sompiles or repacks is cause sometimes people may put viruses or trojans or backdoors in there repacks to screw with people so if you are going to use a repacks i recomend virus totaling it

There are some good databases like PSDB (Project Silvermoon Database) which is really awesome for a Funserver and it sets your server up with heaps of fun things for player interaction such as a Park, a Pool, a Mall, an awesome GM Island and much more. If you would like more information then feel free to let me know and i would be more then happy to help out.
