This should give you the reason to have your own server. Get a group of your friends to play with you. I still have and use WoW retail, pay yearly, but I also enjoy my own server and play with my family and friends for the nostalgia of back in the Wrath days, and we have a blast. We do raids with just 4 or 5 of us and bots to fill out the raid slots and have no issues. UnBot is your friend and extremely useful, and easy to use once you get the hang of it.
