Some Vista Issues

So I have made several servers before, normally using AC-Webs repack. Recently, it has sort of bored me and I have had issues with it in the past. I am now trying to get spartants v4 repack to work and it works great on XP, but not on vista. I am getting the same errors for several programs. First, when I installed mysql 5.0 I got a "application failed to start because its side by side config is incorrect" I learned how to fix that using resource hacker, now I'm getting the same error with all of the ascent .exe's...even after editing it with resource hacker. Has anyone had this problem and know how to overcome it? (Sorry for the wall of text, i just wanted to explain it pretty well.)

Deldrice - I had this same issue when I went from XP to Vist. The problem I found with this is that Mysql 5.0 and Ascent use the same port 3306. What I did was uninstall Mysql 5.0 and tried again. After this I've had no problems.

If that doesn't work you'll need a repack compiled on Vista or just compile it yourself

i would suggest compiling it yourself and also try reinstalling MySQL first
