    Is there a way to load a lua file within the namespace of an already loaded addon?

    I'm using luaL_loadfile to load scripts, but I have to have everything in global space for those scripts to interact with stuff. I'm hoping there is a function that would allow it to sneak into an addon's namespace...

    you may want to take a look at the addon loading process in the named idb. I think it has some stuff that happens based on the files names. Might give you insight on how to force yourself into an addons tables ore something?
