    Hello,
    i'm struggling getting the created by guid for a specific object. Does anyone have the offset already?

    Its in the descriptors, really easy to find....

    thanks. could you please elaborate a bit more on this? I'm using some offsets to get the guid and name of the object, which is working fine. i'm not able to get the createdBy guid the same way what do you mean by "it's in the descriptors"?

    Descriptors are at 0x10. So for CGUnitData::createdBy it would be [[UnitBaseAddress+0x10]+0x6C]

    Maybe you need to read the rules. (Memory Editing Section Rules) This section is for intermediate to advanced programmers and it is expected that you search before you ask for information. As has been mentioned there is plenty of information about how to read and use the descriptors as this is how it was done from the beginning all the way to legion before they removed it from retail.

    Asking the same question over and over and only asking to be spoon-fed (as you do after checking your posts) will only annoy people here and will make us less likely to help you.
