(Paying) (TBC) Please teach me alter my camera so it is the same height as mounted.

Hi there. Im willing to tip £10 via paypal to anyone who can help me with this problem. It's not much but Its all I can afford. I've looked through the forums quite extensively to no avail - I see a lot of threads mildly touching on the topic but with no real answer (or maybe I just dont get it)

If anyone could help me edit something in the Data files (or whereever it is) so that my camera is centred around a higher point that the camera moves to once a player is mounted I would be so appreciative! To clarify I want my camera to be at the mounted height even when I am on foot.

I only know about this place because I did some googling and ended up here with someones FOV guide which was super helpful, I managed to change that by following the steps.

(Paying) (TBC) Please teach me alter my camera so it is the same height as mounted.

Get the camera position and add to it. Or you could change the characters height, but that could be detected.

Thanks for sharing but I have no idea what to do with this information. I've played around in HxD and Cheat Engine but I dont think those are what i need to use?

I helped someone out with this once before. This should do what you need. Not "detected" on any realms last I checked - not that I think any server would go out of their way to start banning for it.

    Vanilla: VanillaCamFix.zip - Google Drive
    BC: BurningCrusadeCamFix.zip - Google Drive

Edit: I should mention it also takes command line arguments if you want to use it without GUI each time.
    -pid:12345 or -pid:all (required)
    -height:2
    -fov:3

Thank you Jadd. Is the camera position editable in game by any chance? (Not counting on it)

The program hooks the function responsible for calculating the camera position, it offsets the height and modifies the FOV. I guess you could patch this into Wow.exe but it's easier to just do it on the fly in my opinion.

I also made a thread here and included a demonstration: Vanilla/TBC Camera Height/Field of View Fix
