    Ida problems with wow 7.1.5 23420

    hi
    when i diassmble wow with ida and searched for aobjectmgrclien i found some subs but there is no dword or goodies in them !

    does anyone have obj manager and client connection offset for wow 7.1.5?
    or anyhelp with ida?

    If you're just after the offsets there is no need to create a new thread, use the search function to search for the build number to see old threads, like this one ([WoW] [7.1.5.23420]).
    (Object manager offset is refered to as EntityList in the first post here)

    I haven't done any reversing of 7.1.5, but for a better way of finding it yourself you might try searching for the strings that are a part of the "ShowObjUsage" console command and getting the referenced address from there:

    I don't think the client connection offset is needed for 7.1.5, you should be able to just use a direct offset from the module base.

    i want obj mgr and client connection for curmgr , i searched them no good result at all for 7.1.5 , i search web about it no good either just some tutorials with ida to how to get it i know curmgr is clientconnection + obj mgr
    sry for bad english
    in tutorials they sayed obj mgr and client connection should be a first dword in objectmgrclien.cpp but there is no dword at all refrences

    curMgr, ObjectManager, EntityList etc are all just different names for the same thing: a list of active objects.
    In the thread I linked you, the first post has an offset for this list, there named EntityList.
    You do not need to use the relative offsets based on clientconnection anymore, those tutorials are from older versions of the game.
    Simply use the offset in that thread. (relative to wow.exe's module address)
