Looking for the TLS tutorial

Hi everyone,

I have started learning to program bot recently and I saw the TLS method mentioned in a number of posts. I would like to really understand that method but the link to the tutorial is already dead, probably already for awhile: http://www.madx.dk/wowdev/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=348

Can someone please point me to a cached version of that tutorial or a similar one?

If you mean to get the object manager pointer through TLS reads, then you probably aren't using a recent WoW. They are storing it globally for some time now.

Thanks a lot for the replies. I have been looking at tutorials to write WoW bot and was not aware of such change to ObjManager's storage. I also have this noob question if you guys do not mind: Is the concept of ObjectManager applicable to any MMO game or is it just Wow specific?

I am wondering if there is any guide/tutorial on the method to find the address of these game's ObjectManager in general (not just for WoW)? I am familiar with normal pointer scanning for various things like Health, X, Y, Z etc. and I am half way done with my reverse engineering training and I would really appreciate any tutorial that explain the methodology that one could find the ObjectManager. I assume that it would require reverse engineering.

I desire also to know how to get TLS index pointer and such things. TLS offset, since i've got some TLS offsets for some wow versions:
3.3.5-(0x009439bc)
4.0.6-(0x00a3c170)
4.3.4-(0x00b7728c)

How to get them for these new MoP patches? such as 5.0.5 or 5.4.0
