    Learn this shiz?

    Hello

In sweden we are lucky enough to learn basic C++ coding in school. I have passed those tests but I am nowhere near the code that is in this section with my C++ skills. My question is, where is a good place to start?

I am now reading on C++ Language Tutorial - C++ Documentation

But where do I go after that to learn stuff related to WoW?

    Thanks

Learn about what windows does behind the scenes, so that you know what you want to achieve. This goes fairly beyond knowing what a pointer is. If you are aware of the consequences that each executed statement has, you might grasp the os stuff fairly easy. From there, learning assembler and reverse engineering isn't far. Just do us all a favor and don't spam this forum with questions which are caused by not being comfortable with the aforementioned things or just laziness to learn/search/google.

Bananenbrot has basically summed up what is needed. I came into this forum knowing absolutely nothing about anything. I knew C# only, but from all the threads and free code I was able to learn how to code simple working bots. While very basic questions aren't welcome here, you most likely can find the answer to it just by searching as I did.

Stick with C++, be sure you understand OOP concepts. Take a look at calling conventions.
You'll need to know x86 assembly if you are serious about understanding botting. You'll need to reverse engineer the wow client.
The main programs for it is OllyDbg and IDA pro.

I never used olly. Cheat Engine is more than enough in most cases.
