yet another navigation question - phasing crap

question is - how to handle/identify phasing.

1. how to identify what phase you are in ? ie: starting MOP zone, The Jade Forest can refer either to hawaiimainland or pandafishingvillagescenario "continent/world" depending on phase.
2. how to handle transition from one continent to another, again same Jade Forest scenario, suppose you still in phase pandafishingvillagescenario but your POI (ie: herb/mine) is in hawaiimainland - how to navigate there.
