[Question]How to determine if a frame is shown

I want to monitor if a frame is shown in wow,like a mailbox is open or friend list frame is shown.
my idea is:
hook broadcastevent, then determine if the eventid equal MAIL_SHOW or FRIENDLIST_UPDATE or something like that.
Is this feasible? any better way?

Look in the mpq's and you'll see them. It's in your local-XXX.mpq file. Should have the frame name for everything in there.

Mouse over the frame and write "/run print(GetMouseFocus():GetName())" ingame.
