    LUA-Addons

    I've been trying out this method:
    (reading a array of a self-made ingame lua-addon)
    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-me...tml#post771373

    I couldn't resurrect the thread, so I'm making a new one ^^

    Does anybody has this working? I can find my lua-Array in Memory, but the Array itsself seems pretty messed up and I'm not able to tell where a specific element is located.

    This is my lua:
    Code:
    datapr=1005.1;
    membuf[11]=1011.1;
    membuf[10]=1010.1;
    membuf[9]=1009.1;
    membuf[8]=1008.1;
    membuf[7]=1007.1;
    membuf[6]=1006.1;
    membuf[5]=dataptr;
    membuf[3]=5589.45;
    And when I'm reading the memory I find the values at these addreses:
    Code:
    5589.45 @ baseAddress
    1004.1 @ baseAddress -32
    1006.1 @ baseAddress -80
    1007.1 @ baseAddress -112
    1008.1 @ baseAddress -144
    1009.1 @ baseAddress -176
    1010.1 @ baseAddress -208
    1005.1 @ baseAddress -272
    Sometimes the next elements is 32bits away, sometimes 48 and sometimes 64bits. It doesn't really make sense to me ^^
