[help] reading chat pane (for zeppelin arrivals)

just wondering if anyone came up with an addon-less way to read the chat from memory

is a nice way of doing it but requires a bit of overhead.

would open up quite a few possibilities, but im wanting it specifically to know when the zeppelins arrive, unless anyone has a different/easier way.

My gues is, that the chat is stored in a dynamic array... So with some TLS work you might be able to find the offsets.... But if you are looking only for one specific message anyways, you could simply search the whole memory for it.... If it exists somewhere in the depths of WoWs memory, someone has got to have said it..

There have been earlier styles of catching chat through reading packets. Reading packets also allowed to see chat messages before being encoded by the client.

You can either do it this way, or start down the path of reading memory.
