    Have been using AHK to bot, can someone explain the risks?

    I wrote a bot with AHK that casts a rotation in the WoW window and auto loots for me and It has been working flawlessly. It allows me to play other games or watch videos why I farm for BOE mounts or raw gold 2x4 farms.

    I naively thought that sense I wasn't editing any of the actual game files or trying to interfere with the LUA sandbox that I was more or less undetectable for all practical purposes. However with the recent change in policy regarding

    multiboxers I have been doing some research and now I am not so sure that it is reasonably safe at all.


    Can someone confirm and or explain the innerworkings of detection so that I know if my suspicions are right or wrong? Likewise should I be worried about receiving a ban or am I in the clear as long as I stop botting (assuming this method is

    in fact, unsafe. Which it now seems to be.)
