(Retail) Using fishing bot while watching it

Hi!

Like many other WoW players (I imagine) I simply don’t enjoy doing the clicking involved in fishing, so I’m wondering if it’s near enough risk free to use a fishing bot while watching it?

Of course I would do it manually every 5mins for 1min, or so, if it would minimize the risk of getting caught, but would just appreciate not having to do most of the work.

Using a bot is never exactly safe. If the bot you're using is detected, the fact that you've been watching it won't help much. You'll get banned regardless.
Of course, if you'd like to fish bot, go ahead. Watching your bot is important so you don't get that many player reports. But obviously don't do it on your main account.
