So, I had a question. I created a very simple script in AHK that presses a keybord button using the send function, waits a random time between .5-.75 seconds and presses a second button, waits, and repeats endlessly. This kind of behavior is common because there is a valuable item from a vendor that only appears once every half hour or so and people spam the two buttons so that they will be the first to purchase the item. In later patches Blizzard removed this but in classic you can camp the vendor for valuable items.
Will blizz be able to detect and ban me for doing this? I am using the send button function in AHK. I imagine that the action of quickly pressing the two buttons is something that even players who are not scripting will do. I just want to be able to save my hands from getting sore.
Do I need to make the button stay pressed for a few tens of millisecconds to make it more humanlike? Does WoW usually look for AHK? Does Blizard commonly ban this kind of thing or is this more of a grey area that does not usually get bans? I am playing classic wow.
Thank you for any help from those much more experienced than me.
