Besides honorbuddy....I read lots of people getting ban using GB2. I'm in the same boat as the OP in that I'm looking for a new bot now that Lazy is no longer functional. Just need a gathering and fishing bot. Safest one possible.

Honorbuddy is one of the safest bots out there. Just don't bot stupidly. Create your own gathering profiles, change up what you bot and for how long, pick a good CR and you are golden.

You read a lot about GB2 bans because the vast majority of wow botters use HB (HB reports 130k+ users) - botters get banned - therefore the bot with the most users is going to have the most reported bans regardless of monitoring plugins or other add-on/built-in safety features
