considering all the bans the last days on Honorbuddy, how are things going for..

Many people reporting an increased rate of bans the last days in Honorbuddy forums, so I was curious to know what happens to other bots.

Maybe a discussion can somewhat reveal the pattern blizzard is on at the moment.

I'm actually using honorbuddy right now and have not been banned (been using for 3 weeks now).

I have not used it to farm herbs or ore, just grinding and leveling a death knight. I'm not sure if there is detection in parts of the bot's engines or if people are just getting reported and investigated.

No detection or they would ban everyone literally. But yeah, they pay some more attention on EU now. Been like this on US for a while.

Appreciate the replies, but these are well known and discussed before. Some get banned, others don't, we dont know if it is indeed detectable and blizz just play dumb and bans in small groups just to sell more new accounts.

I've also been using PQR and Lazybot since wrath of the lich king and have had no problems with getting banned. When it comes down to it, it all depends on how you bot. If you're botting in a high populated area, or are using an out-of-date bot, you could expect your chances of getting banned to be quite high. Using bots that are out of date increase the chances of bein detected by the warden greatly because codes change and the warden is updated every patch.

In my case, I am botting in a phased area, in fact an area that is only available to newly leveled 90s ( the quest line to unlock the golden lotus dailies.) I (to my knowledge) have not been reported because it looks like I am just doing the quests and player never see me again because I'm phased out of the rest of the world. So my point being just be safe and smart when botting and know how to reduce the chances of getting banned by doing so.
