can i use bot in my main account ?

i want to use bot for making my flask and selling flask or for extracting ore, jewelcrafting .

i will use bot 4hours per a day. in my main account

you should just not got 10+hours a day and switch profiles alot
also try to sit the bot at any time while you have it at your main
make some conversation in guild chat etc.

No, but in all seriousness, 4 hours a day is perfectly acceptable. I've been botting for about 8 months now, usually around 12-16 hours per day, and nothing has happened yet. Not even a warning.

It is relativly safe if done correctly. If you don't know what you are doing, don't do it.

No account is ever safe to bot on.

You shouldn't risk it botting on your main account, for all we know all the bots right now have been detected already but blizzard is just waiting for a banwave.

Sorry to necro bump this but I didn't want to make a whole new thread about this topic since there seems to be a few of these already and I'm not even 3 pages in.

My main question is this:

If I am botting on my main account, do I need to use proxies, or vpn or w/e it's called?

Lately I've been botting a few hours in the morning then playing my toon the rest of the day. I try to not look suspicious or anything and just go about my business.

I'm aware it's high risk, I just don't know what I should do so I can take some extra steps atm to keep the account from getting banned sooner rather than later. I do plan on buying an alt account to bot on but I'm just waiting till payday to do so.

I bot on a low/mid pop realm and as far as I could tell I just bot in places where I am least likely to be seen. The only botting i've been doing is fishing and then selling the fish. Not making a ton of gold really. Just enough to get more items for myself (profession mounts, etc).
