Detecting Feign Death

I was wondering, is the buff that shows up for feign death visible to enemy players? I am trying to write some bot logic and want to continue to attack a target who has feign death, but I am pretty sure that buff is only visible to friendly players (or maybe it's just party members). Since hunters usually just use feign to duck duck targeting I've never really noticed if the buff shows up.

But my bot logic checks if a target existed, attempts to reacquire the target, and then, if the target is actually dead, I want it to find a new target. But if the target is a hunter it causes a bit of a problem. How do I know if the hunter is actually dead?
