Every game card is stored server side by Blizz, and the likelihood of guessing the valid card is pretty damn low

Every gamecard code consists of 26 alpha-numeric characters.
Every such character has 36 possibilities (single-case).
So further...it gives us 36 root 26 possibilities (the order in our configuration does matter).
that gives us around
3,0000000000,0000000000,0000000000,0000000000 possible game card codes.
Nice huh ?
ok... if you you are an optimist, we've just got around 2.5 x 10^89 particles in the universe AND there's not only 1 right code, then, THERE IS A CHANCE ; ] lol

Considering you would be testing 5 codes per minute (yeah you would need to type pretty fast). Then it would take you only around
10,0000000000,0000000000,0000000000,00000000 hours to test all of the possibilities,hey, but then you would have ALL of the valid game cards;D

yeah I know some guy created a thread with a generator and I was not fast eneough to reply before Admin took care of things. Just delete it.

No. It is possible to analyze the gamecards generated, and to get a relatively successful generator. In fact, one was created a while back, but was never released and the creator "lost the source" (it was a trustable person, so they probably did have one). They are NOW not a viable way of creating gamecards however since they are activated at the counter. You would now have to get lucky and have the card generated be one that someone just bought and hasn't redeemed yet.

EDIT: Also, and iirc, the successrate of the generated card was somewhere around 80%
