Should I even bother playing anymore?

So, I was botting with SGather while doing some unimportant nonspecific things on my computer and I hear the whisper noise and Ignore it. When I check, it is someone saying that they have reported me for botting I have heard Blizz watches your account closely after you're reported, and that they don't ban you immediately. So, even though I was reported I don't know whether I'll actually even be banned or not. Could anyone help out by telling what happens after you're reported? Do they closely watch you until they have proof of your botting? Any help/advice would be great and I would +rep after I get the ability to do so

They will go through logs for any suspicious activity, and they might contact you ingame... You could just go on playing like you normally did, when you get banned just contact them and lie about everything to get unbanned lol

in other words, best bet is to manually farm like you've been farming for the next 2 weeks.

Best bet is to stop botting for a month then continue . i had the same situation and never got banned so far??

Report that user for Harassment, (if he whispered you more then once, blizz will ban him for 48hrs) and manually gather for the next 4 day's.
