I want to learn how to create a bot. I know the rules state not to ask this, but I did not find a thread telling me how where to start.

Could someone please direct me to a good place where I can learn how to make a simple something for wow? For a starter project I was thinking of something that would move my character to a few way points.

I can whip up a auto hot key bot in a few hours... I made one that combined the teleporter hack and MrFishit. The end result was a bot that would fish for a few minutes and then travel to a vendor and sell off all the fish.

Other than that, nothing really. I could learn autoit. I started to, but stopped because I had nothing to use it for.

picking up a book would be your best bet.

but there are also several c# and autoit sources scattered throughout, non working ofcourse, maybe you can get an idea from those

your not going to find something that is going to teach you specifically for wow. you will learn methods that you can implement
