C++ fishing bot

Hey guys, I made a fishing bot in C++ that I have been testing on private servers and it works fine.. But today when I tried on official classic wow I had a few issues.
One of them was SetForegroundWindow(HWND hWnd); is not setting the wow window to foreground (the handle to the window is correct)
The other one is that I can't send keyboard inputs with

keybd_event(keyCode, 0, 0, 0);
keybd_event(keyCode, 0, KEYEVENT_KEYUP, 0);

and also mouse inputs with

mouse_event(MOUSEEVENTF_RIGHTDOWN, 0, 0, 0, 0);
mouse_event(MOUSEEVENTF_RIGHTUP, 0, 0, 0, 0);

Any ideas, or any additional information you need me to provide so you can think of something to assist? Much appreciated

I Was looking into Fish bots for Classic i used to use that old one with private servers showed a picture of a guy with a yellow rain coat. Not much content with wow exploits yet

For anyone wondering I was able to send input to the game using SendInput SendInput function (winuser.h) | Microsoft Docs but was unable to set the foreground window. When calling SetForegroundWindow I just lose focus of all windows (???). So i manually switch to wow window right after I run my bot. So I guess I will stick with that for now.

Have you tried putting in a bit of delay between the key down and key up?
