EggoBot v2 - Pixel Based BFA fishing Bot! [DETECTED ON LIVE]
This project is no longer supported!
(Use bot at your own risk)
Hello OwnedCore Community,
I have been a long time World of Warcraft fan playing the game for many years, while I love the game I hate the grind! To fix this issue I’ve used various Bots such as ‘Wow Glider’, ‘HonorBuddy’, and many others, as you all know these bots no longer exist. In my search for new Bots nothing quite satisfied my needs entirely, so after much deliberation, I decided to make my own free and open fishing bot. Recently I’ve released EggoBot v1 in the ‘Wow EMU Programs’ section which was primarily designed for testing on Burning Crusade servers, after many many hours of testing and adding new features specifically to get the bot working. I have finally got the bot to a place in which I believe it's ready for BFA! Enjoy EggoBot v2 it's not perfect so please post questions, comments, and bugs i'll do my best to reply. Happy Fishing!
Features:
- Simple Bot Overlay (Only During Setup)
- Bot Ink Tool for Customizing Bobber Color
- Bot Anti-AFK
- Auto Updater inside ‘File’ drop down (Currently Broken Sorry )

Q&A:
*What Language did you write the bot in?
- C++
*Does this Bot work on other versions of wow?
- It's designed to work on all version, but specifically retail patch.
*Does this bot read/write memory?
- Negative, this bot does not read or write to memory at all.
*Does the bot cost?
- The bot is completely free and will never cost!
*What does Autoloot check box do?
- Simply check autolook when you have Autoloot off ingame, if Autoloot is on ingame than just uncheck the box.
*What is Dark Mode?
- Only select Dark Mode if you are Fishing in a darker environment, it essentially changes the shade of white it looks for when bobber splashes ingame.
Example Below:
- Dark Mode: (RGB) R: 180 - 255 G: 180 - 255 B: 180 - 255
- Light Mode: (RGB) R: 230 - 255 G: 230 - 255 B: 230 - 255

Bot fish catching precision looks solid. You can implement few things to make detection harder on Blizzard side:
- simulate human behavior, now it's catching fishes way too fast for normal human. Make some random delays for using fishing / bobber click
- randomize process name/window title, Blizzard is checking these constantly
Anyway, good job

Those are great idea's and honestly fairly easy to add ill likely include these suggestions in the next update! Luckily the bot is fairly new and unknown so we shouldn't have an issue with detection. I also agree the clicking on Bobber is somewhat fast but its actually made to click within a random time frame BUT I do agree that the time frame is a little fast.
I appreciate the advice and rep, thanks!

You need to consider that for Blizzard it doesn't matter if bot is new or not.
They are probably using machine learning to detect bot behavior. If majority of normal players click bobber in 400-600 ms frame and your bot is clicking it after 10-50 ms they will predict it was a bot.
Blizzard gathers such data all the time however we can't be sure if they even consider making model for catching fish bots. They did for gathering in the past. No idea if they care enough atm since HB is dead.

I was going to try make a fishing bot myself, i doubt it will be as effective as one I can download but just want to see if I can do it, are you looking for the different light blue splash colour to trigger when to reel in or is it the splash sound?

Code:
The code execution cannot proceed because ucrtbased.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

I tried reinstalling all the latest supported Visual C++ downloads, but to no joy. Shame.

You’ve got to make sure you have the latest “.Net Framework” installed, also this was tested on windows 10 so I’m not sure if it’ll work on anything else.

Yes this is an issue and the way to fix it currently is to open the “WoW.exe” not the blizzard launcher and it should be ran in admin mode. Than open the bot in admin mode and 90% of the time it’ll work. For some reason grabbing the window handle which the bot does has issues sometime on the retail client which is strange and an issue iv been trying to solve but it works 9 times out of 10 If you follow those steps.

Will try your bot a little bit later. Just an idea to make ANY non-injection bot 100% safe. Run wow under windows user with zero rights and run bot under admin. Basically windows won't allow warden to scan admin users processes.

I have latest .net and latest C++ distr. I manually downloaded the .dll to get past the error but the bot doesn't cast or click on the bobber it only search for it.
