LazyFish - 100% passive fishing bot!

[PEOPLE ARE GETTING BANNED AS OF 03/10/18]

    Hello everyone,

I am a long time player, since 2005 and we all know how painful it is to grind when you simply dont have your youth anymore. There are many bots out there, many which have fishing. Why should you pick mine over the others? No reason. You pick which ever you want. But remember the good old days with LazyBot? Yes, this bot is based on that bot, being 100% passive.

    PROS:
    - 100% passive (No writing/reading)
    - Automates fishing
    - Interface
    - Plenty of settings to customize
    - No static elements, hard to detect

    CONS:
    - Highly dependent on positioning and camera angle to not miss splashes

    - Snatches your mouse
    - Complicated/Wonky to use
    - Must enable auto-loot in WoW

Interface with information and settings so you can make the bot your very own

How it works, the view is horizontal

Positioning is key, so is camera angle

    README:
Written in C#, requires .Net 4.6.1 - Createaa

    1. Start the World of Warcraft client, enable auto-loot. And make sure you do your looting with RMB.
    2. Log in to your character of choice with the fishing profession.
    3. Launch LazyFish.
    4. Set your settings
    5. Stand where you want to fish.
5a. Position yourself correctly. Try different options for best result.
    6. ???
    7. Profit.

    Changelog
    Code:
    v2.6
    - Optimizations, as always.
    - Output has been pimped a bit.
    - Settings now has a new button, advanced settings
    - Advanced setting: Discord Webhook

    v2.5
    - Assessing size now has a maximum amount of times it tries (prevents drifting off endlessly)
    - Bobber size is no longer accepted if width or height is less than 3 pixels
    - Thread should now die when the application is exited
    - Anti-AFK finished but jump key only supports "Spacebar" for now
    - Strafe hotkeys are now actually properly saved
    - Bobber speed trackbar has been adjusted. Its fastest value is still the same but normal has gotten slower. The old value is around 4 ticks to the left from normal.

    v2.4
    - Bobber size assesser improved significantly. Squeezing rather than blooming
    - Random loot location improved. Now creates a large circle at the assumed center of the bobber. The circle gets smaller (15 times) until it finds a spot where it can loot
    - Stop no longer let you start instantly (causing the spawnage of multiple threads)
    - Log output cleaned up and improved to show information in more detail but less cluttered (We're talking about the .txt file here)
    - Anti-AFK has gotten its own settings section (which is still under work)
    - The false positives left us (Traitors! Every single one disappeared, just like that..)

    v2.3
    - Cloning cursor rather than using the drawing directly.
    - Anti-AFK properly set to 10 minutes and not 1 minute.
    - Anti-AFK strafe hotkeys now configurable (Note that strafe and turn is not the same thing)
    - Crashes are now recorded as critical or unknown errors. If it still crashes it is something from the outside that's closing it. (I want more info)
    - I'd like to welcome 2 new false positives to the family.

    v2.2
    - Using progress class to handle objects outside of thread
    - Feature added: normal log
    - Stop now finishes the session then safely kills the thread
    - Feature added: Emergency stop just kills the thread as is
    - More tool tips added
    - Text for hook generator and donations added back

    v2.1
    - False positives fixed, dll no longer embedded..
    - Possible fix to the random crashes
    - Minor optimizations
    - Bobber speed can now be configured in settings

    v2.0.1
    - Fixed 2 bugs
    - Increased bobberspeed
    - Enlarged output window

    v2.0
    - Removed useless settings
    - Reworked bobber size assesser (more accurate now)
    - Reworked mouse movement (introducing semi-fluid movements and you cant see it but it doesnt move in a straight line)
    - Added some features that were requested
    - Optimized A LOT
    - Error log added

    v1.2
    - Removed all titles and you can now set your own
    - Removed all icons
    - Changed namespace and original file name to Skype (Sorry and thank you, Skype). If you have a better idea, please share.

    v1.1.4
    - Enabled remaining settings
    - Added anti afk
    - Fixed bugs, optimized code.
    - Encryption removed, only obfuscated

    v1.1.3
    - Code protection

    v1.0.3
    - Dock on top fixed
    - Hotkeys A-Z fixed
    - Enabled "Duration" and "None"
    - Enabled "Rows [Right to Left]
    - Enabled Scanner Preview

    v1.0.2
    - Removed the annoying ass popup (Got triggered as false positve by my antivirus anyway)
    - Enabled "Always on top"
    - Enabled "Hook generator" which allows you to extract the hook -YOU- have (experimental, if you fuck up, download again or rename the backups)
    - Added "Splash Detection" picture
    - Minor optimization

    v1.0.1 hotfix
    - Embedded DLL
    - Configured default settings

    v1.0 release
    Complete revamp
    - New interface
    - New code written from scratch
    - With that comes new features (Example: hotkeys)
    - It also comes with a whole new arsenal of bugs you can find for me!

    v0.4 alpha
    - Minimum random delay now 240ms
    - Can now set to scan in column mode or in row mode

    v0.3 alpha
    - Some settings can be customized

    v0.2 alpha
    - Window always on top and a resized to something more acceptable. (this makes it a lot easier to quit)
    - Clearing out information after each bite
    - Slowed down the bobber finder by a factor of fucking 5.
    - Made square where it looks for bobber smaller (33% width, 38-42% heigth) was previously (33% width, 55% heigth). Always 8-12% from the top, 33% from the left.
    - Made random delay longer (from 30ms to 700ms) was previously (50 to 150)
    - Doubled the delay it waits for splash detection

    v0.1 alpha hotfix
    - Enabled looting again

    v0.1 alpha
    - Slowed down mouse movement to 50% (should help people with low fps)
    - Increased random delay between actions
    - Added timer, default is 60 minutes
    - Added X check making the splash detection, theoretically, twice as accurate (still has its flaws and misses)

    Awwweeesome..

    I'm so excited.. & I just can't hide it.

    Thanks for sharing

And truthfully.. I don't mind that it misses the loot randomly.. I'd kinda almost call that a security feature ;-)

Maybe sometimes it doesn't click at all.. or clicks late & misses it..

100% efficiency is the most suspicious these days.. haha

Its very buggy for me and misses around 6/10.

Easy to use though, so not much left to make it a great bot.

First of all, great job for 3 hours!

Secondly: would it be possible to have a version that doesn't cast, and only grabs the fish?

There used to be a bot called Little Hooker (yea really) that only caught the fish, allowing the player to move around and do the casts. It was awesome for fishing while watching something on the TV.

Damn guys, awesome response. Not what I expected!
Here is a version update as a token of appreciation!
By the way, do we still use lures and stuff?

    Changelog v0.1 alpha:
    Code:
    - Slowed down mouse movement to 50% (should help people with low fps)
    - Increased random delay between actions
    - Added timer, default is 60 minutes
    - Added X check making the splash detection, theoretically, twice as accurate (still has its flaws and misses)

I'm excited that you are excited ! Maybe I'll add an intended miss feature in the future!
Well, think I saw 2 fishing bots on the page when I was about to make mine, one turned out to be pixel based and only worked for BC though and the other was part of a huge bot.

I have decreased the speed to 50%, should work better. Please come back with how it went.

Thanks, I am glad I'm not the only one into minimalistic programs!

Thanks, I did spend an additional 5 hours finding the fish icon if it counts!

Well, with my bot you cannot move the mouse. At all. So if you want to move the mouse around yourself then its not possible without reading the memory.

So it finds the blobber, but instead of pressing "U" it just press "1" at the splash i think, because there is no loot window but just repeating throw,splash,throw,splash....

Should work with any version, regardless of patch!

Is there a reason this doesn't work over a stream (splashtop/steam) or am I just doing something wrong.

It just auto exits after entering the time.

    Thanks.

If it crashes after entering time then it cannot tab up the wow client, make sure wow is running and that you ran it from the blizzard app.
If it still doesnt work, update your .Net framework

Make sure youre running the bot and wow on the same machine. Other than that it should work to start it remotely.

That would be it then I am used to running stuff like this with the game on one pc and the bot on the other pc for safety reasons.

Thanks for the quick answer though.
