WoWSniffer 0.1a (WITH SRC)

WoWSniffer is basically a language hack, but because it doesnt touch the WoW process it is pretty much impossible to detect (assuming you run WoW with restricted privledges)

The source code is included!

Restricted privileges? What does they do and how do you know if it is runnng with 'em?
Also, arent all process names/windows scanned when you open up WoW so it can be detected unless it has a random name?

Anything less than Administrator.. I'm assuming.

Well, if you right click WoW.exe and choose "Run As" then run it under an account that has limited priveliges it may not be able to enumerate processes etc.

Also, just rename WoWSniffer to something like Winamp.exe, makes it harder to detect.

Hey Im Demonkunga, this is my first post, you guys have an awesome forum here, lots of good info.

About this program, I have been trying it for about an hour now and cant seem to get success, let me know if it still works and such, thanks.

Have you made sure that you've selected the right NIC etc. I'd give this another go but realms are down. Maybe post screenshots of each step of you setting it up etc. That way we may be able to diagnose the problem till I can get onto WoW.

I just used this in front of about 50 alliance, they all were talking, nothing shows up, only my guild talk, some raid60, etc ... what do I have to do to set this up?

Set it up? I didnt need to set it up... it automaticly displays whats said in any channel in the DOS window...

like i said above, I couldnt get any alliance talk in there, i got some guild stuff, raid60, /yell from horde, /say from horde, but i was at the darkmoon farie with lots of alliance around, all talking... nothing showed up in the dos window.

HMmmm then i am confuzled. Maybe they have to be within close range or something im not sure myself. Srry dude.
