    Wangler - small fish bot (with source)

    exe+source -> http://www.zptr.net/software/Wangler.zip
    Video of it in action wangler - YouTube

    To set it up all you do is,

    1. Turn hardware cursor off if its on.
    2. Put the fishing into button number 9.
    3. Put your mouse on the upper left point you want to the bot to search in, then press F6.
    4. Put your mouse on the bottom right point you want the bot to search in, then press F7.
    5. Press F8 and it will run until you press F8 again.

    For best results:
    -zoom all the way in (makes bobber bigger)
    -be as close to water level as you can (will better detect the bobber when it bobs as it can see its Y movement better)
    -minimize with the camera angle the Y axis spread of the bobbers random position (allows for quick detection)
    -Set the graphic settings to the lowest (so it gets a higher FPS which helps with the pixel detection)

    If its not working for you, try sliding the search wait trackbar to the right some until it works (its the delay before it reads the pixel after setting the mouse to the correct position).

    I can't get it to work. it just never seems to find it ive tried 20 plus different search wait settings the mouse just keeps going passed the bobber. I can visually see the bobber image so I think it should detect it.

    Okay I think I found the problem the video, this was posted a few days ago I assume it is some one who knows the guy who posted this here.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCpk3f6ACUM

    Shows a golden Pixel. My pixel is the new cataclysm fishook graphic, its nearly the same colors as the bobber. How do you get that old gear interact thing to pop up like in the video?

    Are you playing in window mode or fullscreen?

    It should be set like this Attachment 5410

    Also, when the mouse is over the bob, does the fish hook cursor appear? Thats what my bot checks for. If the cursor just skips over the bobber, try changing the x and y increments.

    That attachment isn't working for me. probably because its pending. I tried in windowed mode first then I tried in Fullscreeen (windowed). I usually play in Fullscreen Windowed, I get the best framerate and reliability from this laptop in that mode. My laptop can't really handle apps in fullscreen for some reason. it kicks the graphic card in really hard and basically blue screens. Dont know whats wrong I've tried everything on that lol. Pretty sure it's just another bad HP laptop.

    Yeah I have the fishook and I can visually see the fishook pop up for about 2 miliseconds so the pixel detect should work yeah?

    second edit. Just tried in fullscreen No cigar.

    well I'm puzzled.

    it could be that the pixel color is different for me and you, and as I hard coded the pixel color for the fish hook it might not work.

    I just added that feature and a new step in the setup is to hover your mouse over the bob so you get the fish hook cursor and then press F5 (while the fish hook cursor is displayed). Hopefully that solves your problem, please let me know if it doesnt.

    can you add a lure feature or is that a bit too complex. Like every 10mins 5seconds? Might want to make it optional though some people don't want their cast interrupted for luring. Testing it now.

    If you do decide to make luring you might want to make the time custom actually. there's Hour long lures and 10min lures. And you can overrite the hour lures.

    Okay it is acting differently now.

    It detects it but it moves passed my bobber after it detects it. I'll try different X and wait settings.

    It's not working yet. everytime it detects it , its no where near where the bobber is. What are u using to set the color im suspicious that it's pulling up the wrong color.

    Windowed fullscreen is preffered.

    ---------- Post added at 01:06 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:59 AM ----------

    I'll explain how my bot does its bob detection and how it detects when it has a fish.

    An example

    The black circle is where the mouse initially hits the bobber and detects that the bobber is in that general area.

    It then travels left from that point, pixel by pixel until it detects the left edge of the bobber. It notes that location.

    It then goes back to that initial point and travels right and detects the right edge of the bober.

    Now knowing the edges of the bobber it knows the middle of the bobber.

    From the middle of the bobber it travels to the top of it, pixel by pixel until it reaches the tippity top.

    This is why its essential to be close to the water level (so it detects the up and down movement of the bob when a fish bites)

    When the fish bites, the bob goes down and the fish hook cursor goes away temporarily, and this is how the program knows when a fish bites.

    It then waits for the bob to come back up and shift right clicks it.

    If there is any error during that process it times out and restarts.

    Here is the bob detect fxn I made
    Code:
    int IsBob(HDC dc,int x,int y,int pause){
    	SetCursorPos(x,y);
    	Sleep(pause);
    	if (GetPixel(dc,x+12,y+24)==dHookColor){
    		return 1;
    	}
    	return 0;
    }

    ---------- Post added at 01:15 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:06 AM ----------

    Ok, so if I understand correctly, we have diffferent cursors? If thats the case then my x and y offsets from the cursor might not be compatible with yours (it might detect the scenery instead of the cursor).

    Please post a picture of your mouse hovering over a bob. This would help a lot.

    Also to help out with troubleshooting, this is how it is supposed to work wangler - YouTube
