Keep track of BG and Dungeon queues while tabbed out

    Hey again.

Here's a little tool I created to help you while you're waiting for those long and annoying queues. This way, you can entertain yourself outside the game and not have to keep checking on it, and know that your queue is still being safely monitored.

It currently works for BGs, RBGs and dungeons, on World of Warcraft v4.2.2.14545.

    Screenshots:
    The GUI:

    Queue pop:

    Instructions:
    - Select a process
    - Click Monitor (right click tray icon to restore from minimized)
    - Enjoy being tabbed out!

    Thanks to:
    - Shynd: BlackMagic lib
    - MMOwned: For love <3

    Download:
    - monit0r.zip

    Hope this tool helps!

    Jadd.

How safe would you call it to use?

Ive been using an addon for past few years that does this. So i would say this is a 0% chance of a ban.

    Is it even banable?

Not as in 0% chance to be banned, but is it a program blizz wouldn't allow?

Doesn't this attach itself to the wow.exe process (or something like that, sorry, I'm a noob when it comes to these kind of things), therefore making it detectable by the client and banable? Because I assume that Blizzard doesn't care if it's either a bot or a program like this, and just bans you.

Or you could just put on Sound in background and disable music and raise the volume slightly and you will hear when a battleground/dungeon pops up, probably better to do than risk getting a ban.

But it's nice for those who likes using programs

This program doesn't attach to Wow and Wow doesn't attach to this program. Unless Jadd did it another way (which would be a bit odd since it's completely useless and he's claiming it to be 100% safe), this program calls Windows API functions to be able to read from the Wow process memory. Those functions alone do not require a link to be created between this application process and the Wow process.

The action of attaching usually refer to when an application start debugging another process. Now there will be a link between those two. Also, the program only reads from Wow memory and doesn't (shouldn't) write to it, making it 100% safe as the Warden doesn't watch for this kind of actions.

This is a simple app but yet very useful for those like me who like to listen to music while playing and sometimes don't hear the BG queue because they're browsing on MMOwned . Thanks for posting in Jadd .

Yep, this is right, only memory reads, so there's no chance of a ban.

Also, the offsets are the same for the new patch so no one has to update anything, it should already work as it always has.

    Request for Jadd.

Anyway you can make this run from what I guess would be called the command line (as in run in conjunction with WoW on shortcut opening) and auto-attach itself to said process?

Either way great small program. Gotta love it.
