Hi zhPaul,

1) Do you have some information about how does the Warden works to share with us ?

2) What application do you use to "study" the Warden ? A debugger ? Which one ? How do you proceed.
I ask that because i have some knowledge on reversing, and i want to start to study the Warden too. But i'm not an expert

If you want to learn the art of reverse-engineering you need to start small. Begin by learning basic assembly, the reverse small programs and use breakpoints and change things until you get the hang of it. Then move onto larger and more complex programs with different protection methods etc, and try and learn as much as you can on the way. You can't just start reverseing warden overnight, it's hard.

I'm not a beginner in reversing. I have done a lot of keygenning challgenge (some of them quite hard). So i think i have good knowledge on reversing.
But i start to study reversing, only 6 month ago; so i have still a lot to improve.

I just want to have a hint, or information, to locate where is the warden.
But yeah i can do it alone, but it takes time

Lol if you're calling yourself a cracker/reverser you shouldn't have to ask me those types of questions. Where do you think warden is? it's in the client. Also in the WoW directory take the file "scan.dll" and unpack it, then post the unpacked size of the dll in bytes for me to confirm. Then you might want to see what exactly the dll uses.. this file is generated through the launcher and scans **** even before WoW opens. It's the same software so the API's it uses are the same.

Sorry if i sound like a complete noob atm but im just curious as to what injecting these DLLs will do to warden. If i'm reading it right, your saying that if i inject the DLLs with CE before i run WoW it will sucessfully hide my processes list from Warden and thus i can get away with using process guard and hence return to using any subtle hax that i want?

If i use this can i use cheatengine to cheat in wow? Like no fall dmg and Wallclimbing? I mean it modifies memory and theres no hack that doesnt do that =P If it doesnt work its just a bunch of crap. ( i dont say its crap unless it dont stop warden from reading what the process do)...

And as the dude above said. Do i inject before i start wow?

ok im downloading atm...but im not sure if ill use it if i wont be answered by this next questions =)
1) what do i need to do so it wont detect my hacks? from what i understood,just rename the hack...
2) is there anyway that the GM's / Blizzard will detect me ?
