    [Gnometools] Survival Hunter fightbook+macros

    Link to download the fightbook is at the bottom of the post!

    Since so many people seem to have a problem with setting up Fightbooks with GnomeTools, I've decided to release (with Pixion's OK) my Hunter Fightbooks here to make using this great bot a little easier. A fightbook is a file that tells the Gnometools program how to fight your character. A lot of people have a hard time setting one up so I've posted these to aid them. It is very simple, just extract the hunter.ini file into your gnometools/fightbook folder, then set up your actionbar in the manner that is detailed in the post. Once you've done that you just load your profile, click start and watch your bot fight much more efficiently than before.

    This fightbook is still a work in progress, I've used it for about 2 weeks now and have noticed no glaring problems. Sometimes it gets confused with buffing Aspects, but you can easily change things in the fightbook to suit your needs.

    First we'll start with spec, it's just a cookie cutter 56 survival 15 marks spec.

    And now the action bar layout.

    1=Mount
    2=Hunters Mark
    3=Combat Macro
    4=Kill Shot
    5=Feign Death
    6=Mend Pet
    7=Empty
    8=Aspect of Viper
    9=Aspect of the Dragonhawk
    0=Eat/Drink Macro
    -=Rez/Feed pet macro
    = is /cleartarget macro

    Now for the Macros:
    Combat
    /petattack
    #showtooltip
    /castsequence reset=target Serpent Sting(Rank 12), Explosive Shot(Rank 4), Steady Shot(Rank 4), Frost Trap, Disengage, Explosive Shot(Rank 4), Explosive Shot(Rank 4)

    Usually I pull aggro off of my pet(a cat) by the time steady shot finishes which is why I have frost trap and two explosive shots to take advantage of Lock and Load

    Eat/Drink macro
    /use Mead Basted Caribou
    /use Honeymint Tea

    Misdirect Macro(for those who don't like pulling aggro from their pet)
    #showtooltip
    /cast [target=focus,exists,nodead][target=pet,exists,nodead] Misdirection

    You can get the fightbook hunter ini here

    Feedback is much appreciated!

    ok...maybe I don't understand what reposting is here. I was under the impression that taking another persons work and posting it was a repost. This is an original fightbook created by me that I have taken from gnometools English private forums to post here to help people out.

    If you are thinking this is some sort of guide to play a hunter then you're needing to re-read what was posted. Yeah it looks a bit like a guide at first glance but is in fact a way to set up your hunter with the Gnometools bot program so that it will fight for you. At the very bottom of the post is a download link for the .ini file that you put into your Gnometools Fightbook folder. Thus I feel that having it in the Bot's forum is justified since it is meant to be used with a bot.

    I've not really raided with a hunter so I don't think I could, besides if you're using GT shouldn't you be farming Uludar relics in stormpeaks as opposed to raiding with it?

    I guess if you really wanted to use it for raiding you could easily just change the reset on the /castsequence commmand to a numerical value.

    Example:
    /castsequence reset=3 whatever spell you want here
    That'll make the castseqence reset after 3 seconds of no input. Might make automating bossfights easier. I don't know though because I've never tried it.
