Realm Changer V2.1

This tool offers:

• *New* Nice smooth skin!!
• Add/Modify/Delete realms (for private servers)
• Auto-deletes Cache folder
• Launch to default Realms for both EU/US (for official servers)
• Parameter support to make shortcuts for your favorite realms!!
• Start up/Launch options
• Tray icon support (You can select realms through it too)
• You can't run more than one instance at a time (i got that often XD)

Managing you realms is quite self-explanatory so i will explain one of the most interesting feature this tool has (and unique too).

You can set parameters to a shortcut of the program so that you can Launch in a realm in silent mode. That means that the program will run invisible for a few moments just to launch the realm and then it closes.

Making a shortcut:
-------------------

Make a shortcut of this tool on your desktop and then right click and select properties..
Then at the "target" box type -server:<realm url here> and you're done!

For example:
Target: "C:\Realm Changer.exe" -server:wow.myserver.com

If you dont want the launcher to close just add the parameter -stay.

To begin:

Q. Why would you make yet another realm list switcher? There are already x on the forum you noob, try to contribute something new, instead of posting the same old crap.

A. I think the ones already on the forum are of a somewhat poor standard. They don't allow for saving of servers, easy offline /online checking, and realmlist.wtf location storage. By releasing this I hope to improve on these programs and make it easier for people who often switch between a number of private or official servers.

I made this program to contribute, and hopefully rid me of my 'leecher' status. I don't know much about private servers, and I'm not great at finding exploits, so programming is my main way of contributing.

Q. How can we trust you, you are just a leecher. Why should we download this?

Apart from the fact that I've included a virus scan, I am also willing to give the source to a mod/admin to look over if need be. Run it while not connected to the internet if you wish, it makes no difference to me or the program, because it does not connect to the internet in any way, shape or form. (apart from pinging, any that only occurs when you click check )

Topwow Private Server Manager

What is it?:


A program for those who alternate playing between different private servers or between retail and private servers, and don’t like foraging through their hard drive every time.


What does it do?:


Allows you to input information about all the private servers you play on, which it stores on file. It also stores the location of your realmlist.wtf file. You can switch between servers with one click, and check if they are online with the inbuilt ping function*. It also allows you to store information about each server, such as any account details, or other notes about that server.

*Some servers may have disabled ping ports, and therefore the program will incorrectly return that they are offline.



How does it work?:


On first load, it will ask you to locate your realmlist.wtf** file, which it stores in the registry. When you click change server, it modifies your realmlist.wtf file, so you can reload WoW and start playing on it.


**If your client has been updated to 3.0.3 then your realmlist will be in \Data\enUS\realmlist.wtf, otherwise it will be on your root wow folder.

So i have been looking around the forum of late and noticed that there is again an abundance of Realmlist changers...again?!

So since a few folks liked my last RL changer i thought id quickly revive my one and re-write it in AutoIt (last version was in REALBasic)

So why bother remaking mine? Because so many of the other ones are too "over complicated".
And yes i do realise how lame and unimaginative i am :P

So just download, tell it where your WoW Folder is then click Help > How to Use ^_^ its quite a simple app.
