    Well enough bickering about Byte and his actions here

    Back on to the topic, Zag, do you take the time to run around a new zone as a ghost with BBot before setting up your roam spots, vendors, etc... (to create a nice map of the area)?

    My warrior is level 39 right now with a good 120g, I might not buy my 60% mount and just save to buy my epic mount skill and pvp for a panther, but I am not sure yet.
    uhm u might as well buy the mount skill as the regular mountskill is required to obtain the epic

    Nope, I just set 4-5 roam points at 300, but I should... I'm just lazy.

    Re: Diary of a wowboter

    Sorry, i know how you guys are with noobs and stupid questions but I recently purchased glider and this is my 10th day using it and I'm lvl 47. I'm pretty good with glider and how it works, havent made any profiles for it tho because the ones I have right now are all i need....I would just like to ask two questions

    1. Does this program work alot better then glider? The main problem with gildder that I'm having is it quits when it wants to like i go to bed and wake up the next morning only to find out it quit after 10 mins

    2. Is it well worth the money? I'm sorta on a tight budget and I cant waste money on something I'm just going to dump.

    Thanks in advance

    Thanks in advance
    IS = innerspace = platform
    ISXWarden = anti-warden = extension
    - all public bots under IS -
    Bbot = bytebot
    Wowbot = bot
    Project-requiem = promising bot (alpha went out today)
    Openbot = no idea, bot in developpement (I've seen nothing yet)

    First of all, the current bots (wowbot and bytebot) are a bit buggy. SO if you are ok to browse the code source to fix some things, then it is the perfect thing for you, if not, you could still wait for project-requiem and openbot (2 bots in devellopement) and see if they are working well. The thing with bots developped under innerspace is that they are fully protected from warden (blizzard anti-cheat program) alas glider is not (or you can buy a premium shit etc etc and get the protection from ISXWarden (protection of Innerspace)). As for are the bot better than Glider, imo, yes, because bbot is looking like a player was playing instead of glider totally looking like a bot. As for the disconnection and stuck problem, well you can never be 100% sure but I've heard a lot of glider's users saying they were having a lot of disconnection problem (i don't know i'm not using glider) but it's not the case with IS bots.

    Worth money? Definitevely, wheter for the coding experience or for a bot you can fix yourself/upgrade as you want and that looks human (and protected from Warden).

    That's just my opinion, take the time to read other people thought, be critic and try to make the best choice possible.

    P.S. : This kind of questions (asking about something you don't have acess to and that there is not much information) is great and really intelligent, what we don't like is stupid question like Geo who doesn't take the time to read and search... but I still love you Geo :P

    No. get wowbot. even if you managed to get bbot from someone that had it before you woudln't be able to get any help on any of the problems you might have, no updates on any routines or nothing...
    Requiem alpha 0.1 is out now and shouldn't be more than a couple of weeks before alpha 0.5 is out (an acutal bot you can use), so in the mean time my advice is stick it out with wowbot.

    Re: Diary of a wowboter

    RAHBot sounds like it's going to be really cool too, specially because of all it's functionality and control through msn. Anyway it's still in development and the guy working on it is really cool too. I still think the best one coming out will be Requiem mainly because of it's navigation system written my Grayman...
    even after all the bad things happening around bbot i think we can expect very good things in the near future

    Re: Diary of a wowboter

    Where can I find project requiem alpha? Even if its not working i would like to check it out, i have been looking forward to this for awhile.

    Anyways heres my two cents on this whole bbot/wowbot issue... IMHO WoWBot is horribly outdated and pretty inferior so i present...

    Acouple of tricks for bbot:

    Be smarter than the bot, always remember that...

    Configure everything you possible can with your routines and test, then retest

    Run around the whole area (including roam) that you are botting while dead till you framrates are constant, this ensures you have mapped out the area nicely

    Personally i set it to destroy whites and lower, i dont ever bother going to the merchant. Same thing with repairing, if you are getting killed enough to require a repair in 8 hrs or less than you need to be botting a lower lvl place. It just is not worth the risk running back and forth through towns no matter how real it looks.

    Re: Diary of a wowboter

    While I do agree with your suggestion to bot on lower leveled mobs, I must say you are incredibly far off from your comparison of Bbot over WowBot.

    WoWBot is solid. What makes WoWbot great is the routines.
    They are getting REALLY advanced now. And changes are made everyday.

    PR is going to be the cats meow IMO. And I can't wait.
    We're on the cusp of a new dawning for botting. =)

    Re: Diary of a wowboter

    Project-Requiem will indeed be very nice... and magebot by eqjoe has changed my mind on what wowbot can do. His obstruction code is fantastic.

    Rumour mill from IRC:

    <firoso> and byte sold out to requiem
    <firoso> we hired him
